Jayne O’Mahony’s career started at the age of eight when she created the role of Young Cosette in the smash hit musical Les Misérables at the Barbican and Palace Theatre in London’s West End. She later returned to play the adult role, making her the first ever artist with this credit to her name. At the same time, she attended Redroofs Theatre School alongside Kate Winslet and completed her education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
Her talent and experience has taken her on Bob Say’s Opportunity Knocks and The Danny Kaye Awards in Holland, hosted by the late Audrey Hepburn, where she represented the UK. She has also performed as Peron’s Mistress in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita and in the ensemble of Les Misérables at London’s Royal Albert Hall. She has recently given concerts in Bahrain, New York, Moscow, St Petersburg, Dubai, Taiwan and Singapore.
