Soon after, they hit the number 1 spot, again with David on lead vocal, with the song There’s a Whole Lot of Loving, featuring the band Guys ‘n’ Dolls.

David has been awarded many gold discs during his career, including four singles and a double for Elvis Presley, and for mega-hit Can’t Smile Without You for Barry Manilow.
