The West End School of Theatre, or WEST, offers the best in performing arts training from the leading stars of theatre in London’s West End.
We offer a range of one-week (five-day) and two-week (ten-day) intensive courses in acting, singing and dance which begin with basic training and workshops in theatrical technique before moving into rehearsals for a show which is presented at the end of the course in a West End theatre to an audience of family, friends and industry professionals.
WEST students are also offered the unique, money-can’t-buy opportunity to experience the most popular West End shows from the best seats in the house before moving backstage for an exclusive guided tour and a chance to meet and question members of the cast.
With all of our training taking place from venues in the heart of London’s West End, WEST students are immersed in the world of theatre right from the start.
We welcome international students and our team is on hand to offer comprehensive advice and support as well as assisting with travel and accommodation arrangements.
Aside from our UK operation, we offer courses in Beijing, China and will be expanding across Asia in 2022.
All of our teachers have played principal roles in London’s West End in such musicals as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Cats, Evita, Grease, The Lion King, Matilda and Wicked, and in plays produced by, among others, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
